Code of Ethics
Christians around the world strive to live their life in accordance with the teachings of the Bible and the examples that Jesus Christ set while on earth. The Bible acts as the foundation of Christian behavior and moral code. All followers of Christ must strive to learn about the moral principles in the Bible and use it as the basis for determining what is wrong and right. According to the teachings in the four gospels of the New Testament, the foundation of Christian moral code are the principles related to the love of God and His creations (Genesis 3:6–19; Romans 1:18; Mark 16:15; John 13:35). In particular, Christians are expected to show their unconditional love for the creator and also love all their neighbors irrespective of race, gender, education level, or socio-economic background. We believe that Christians need to worship God and respect His laws at all times. Besides, Christians should center their lives on God. The process entails orienting their lives around the teachings of the Bible and avoiding basing their decisions and behaviors on other factors such as power and money. Every Christian should strive to place his or her life before God and depend on Him for provision. Before engaging in any undertaking, Christians should see the favor, mercy, and assistance of the Lord. We also believe in showing gratitude for the blessings that human beings get from the Lord (Romans 12:1-2; Mark 9:33-35; Leviticus 1:1-3). God is always willing to assist His people to succeed in life and overcome the challenges that they face in various contexts. Therefore, we have a duty to maintaining a relationship with the Lord and ask for His help.
