Statement of Faith
Our Beliefs
As an organization, we believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God. Therefore, it should be used as the basis for understanding what God expects of us as His children. Furthermore, we believe that there is only one God who is eternally existent as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In our organization, we believe in the power of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning faith, bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven. It is also imperative to state that as an organization, we seek to depend on the Hol Spirit to guide our activities and strive to live according to the standards set by Jesus Christ.
God Scripture and Mankind
In our organization, we believe in an eternally existing God who created the universe and mane. Our God is immortal, invisible and visible, sovereign, and capable of restoring His fallen creations (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 6:3; Matthew 5:48; 28:19; John 10:30; Colossians 1:16; 1 Timothy 1:17). God has graciously revealed His power and existence to human beings through His word and the person of His son Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 6:3; Matthew 5:48). The sixty-six books of the scripture provide records of the powers of God, and authority over all His creations (Psalm 19:1–4; Proverbs 30:6; John 1:14; Romans 1:19,20; Hebrews 1:1,2; 2 Timothy 3:15,16; 2 Peter 1:19–21). As an organization, we also believe that God created human beings in His image and likeness. Furthermore, both males and females have equal value and worth in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 3:15). Since we were all made in the image of God, we should strive to follow the example set by His son Jesus Christ during the time He was on earth. The process entails honoring the social, spiritual, and physical needs of every person and treating every individual with respect, love, and dignity (Genesis 1:27,31; 9:6; Exodus 20:13; Mark 12:30,31; Galatians 3:28)
Fall of Man, Coming of Christ, and His Death on the Cross
In our organization, we believe that all men have fallen short of the glory of God and await judgment on the final day. When Adam and Eve failed to obey the laws of God, they forfeited the original blessedness that had been bestowed on them. As a result, all human beings are now alienated by God and must seek His forgiveness (Genesis 3:6–19; Romans 1:18; 3:23; 5:12–14; 1 Thessalonians 1:10). God has always cared for His creations and sought to restore the broken relationship with His creations. He loved His creation so much that He ended up sending His only son Jesus Christ to come to the world and die for our sins. Jesus was the messiah who the Israelites had been promised (John 1:1,2,14; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 1:27–30; 15:3–5; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:19–22; 2:9; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Timothy 2:5). Through the death of Jesus Christ, human beings were forgiven of their sins and connected to God once more. Our organization also believes in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension to heaven where He is seated in the Right hand of God the Father (Matthew 16:27; 25:31–34; John 14:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Corinthians 15:51–53; Ephesians 3:20,21; 1 Thessalonians 4:15–17; Revelation 1:7).
The Church and Its Great Commission
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ and the apple of His eyes (Ephesians 4:1-6). The Church should focus on spreading the Gospel and preaching about God’s love for his children. God has also used the Church to bring peace to society, reconcile with all people, and respond to the challenges that human beings face today. The Church serves as a sign of God’s kingdom, where people live in harmony with their neighbors. Besides, the Church is the places where God’s Spirit dwells (Matthew 28:20; Mark 16:15; John 13:35; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 21:2,9,10).
